The KCYAA is organized under the Michigan ACT 80 of 1855 and is a 501(c)3 organization. The board is made up of 11 Senior Directors. Membership is available to any individual 18 years of age or older as of the annual meeting date (held the first Wednesday of November each year). Membership is $25 and must be received annually by October 1st.

Regular KCYAA meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at The Fairway (13955 Cascade Road) at 6:30pm. The Association does not meet in January or August.
