AUCTIONS

SUPPORTING THE YOUTH!

The KCYF offers many auction events and options making supporting our youth both easy and flexible for local businesses, families, and individuals. We offer a Large Livestock Auction on Thursday where exhibitors sell the animals they worked so hard to raise and train for the Fair. We have a Still Exhibit and Small Animal Auction on Wednesday where exhibitors can share their talents and hard work with the community by selling their handmade projects and small animal projects including rabbits and poultry. The money from both of these auctions is collected and then paid back back directly to the youth that sold their project.

**Purchases at the Kent County Youth Fair Auctions are deductible to the extent that the cost of the animal exceeds market value.

**Animals are sold per pound unless otherwise noted. All sales final.

REGISTER TO BE AN AUCTION BUYER!

To participate in either the large animal livestock auction or the small animal and still exhibit auction, you will be required to have a buyer’s number.

Registering to be a buyer in our exciting livestock auction or still exhibit auction is easy! You may fill out the online form OR download a form to print and return by mail or email. Either way, we are thrilled to have you register for one or both of our auctions.

COMING SOON!

The KCYF Auction is brought to you in partnership with D & D Truck & Trailer Repair!

ADD A BID

INTERESTED IN DONATING TO AN EXHIBITOR BUT NOT PARTICIPATING IN THE AUCTION? Try An Add-A-Bid! It’s a simple way to support one or more exhibitors. Add-A-Bid is a direct donation to the exhibitor without purchasing an animal or still exhibit project.  Add - A - Bids are 1 week after fair. Any received after that are not guaranteed.

AUCTION PAYMENTS

In order to pay our exhibitors for their auction sales, we need to have 96% of the sale proceeds collected. Your prompt payment is sincerely appreciated! Please scroll down for payment options. Animals are sold per pound unless otherwise noted.

HOW DO I PAY FOR MY AUCTION PURCHASE?

Payments may be made by cash, check, money order, credit/debit card, or Stripe There is a 3.5% Service Fee on all card transactions. Exhibitors are not able to receive their sale money until 96% of the auction proceeds have been collected. Therefore, the exhibitors greatly appreciate prompt payment the night of the sale. A service charge of 1.5% per month will be added to all balances after 30 days.

ARE MY PAYMENTS TAX DEDUCTIBLE?

Purchases at the Kent County Youth Fair Livestock Animal Sale are deductible to the extent that the cost of the animal exceeds market value. If the animal is resold in the ring or donated to the Flat River Outreach Ministry or the Farm Inc. Food Pantry, the entire purchase is then tax deductible.
